Focus Awards Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF)

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF) is for learners who want to maintain the quality of assessment in training centres, or from within an organisation. During the course you will learn the principles and practices of internal quality assurance and how to apply these to internally quality assure the quality of assessment.

To achieve this qualification learners will need to gain a total of 12 credits, comprising 3 credits from Group M, 6 credits from Group OA, and 3 credits from Group OB.

2 mandatory units must be successfully completed within this total:

• Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of

assessment is a knowledge-based unit which requires learners to complete several written assignments.

• Internally assure the quality of assessment is a practical assessment unit. To complete this unit, you will be required to carry out internal quality assurance assessments within your field of competency.
